Admissions
Non-discrimination
Policy

1. Purpose and scope
This policy sets out the college’s commitment to fair, transparent, and non-discriminatory admissions practices. It applies to all admissions activities for the online university—prospective students, applicants, admissions staff, contractors, agents, and any third parties acting on the college’s behalf. The college is based in France and operates in compliance with applicable French and EU laws; nothing in this policy permits unlawful discrimination.

2. Policy statement — plain and direct
We admit students on the basis of merit, stated admissions criteria, and the ability to meet the program’s academic and technical requirements. We will not deny, restrict, or give preferential treatment to an applicant on the basis of any protected characteristic. Discrimination — overt or covert — is unacceptable and will be dealt with firmly.

3. Protected characteristics

  • Race, colour, ethnicity or nationality
  • Sex, gender identity or gender expression
  • Sexual orientation
  • Religion or belief (or lack thereof)
  • Age
  • Disability or long-term health condition
  • Pregnancy, maternity or paternity status
  • Political opinion, trade union membership, or social origin

4. Admissions criteria — what matters
Decisions are based only on criteria published for each program, including but not limited to:

  • Academic qualifications and prerequisites
  • Language proficiency required to follow the course
  • Relevant professional or practical experience where specified
  • Technical requirements for participation in the online program (hardware, internet, software, etc.)
  • Any legitimate, documented eligibility requirements (e.g., licensing requirements for regulated professions)
Applicants must meet the stated criteria; meeting them does not guarantee admission if capacity, competitiveness, or other transparent selection rules apply.

5. Reasonable accommodations and accessibility
We will make reasonable accommodations during the admissions process and, where possible, in program delivery for applicants with disabilities or health conditions. Applicants who require accommodations must notify the Admissions Office and provide supporting documentation. Requests will be handled confidentially and assessed on a case-by-case basis with the goal of enabling equitable access without compromising essential academic or professional standards.

6. Application procedures and transparency

  • Admissions criteria and any selection procedures will be published and easily accessible to applicants.
  • All applications will be assessed against the same standards and procedures for the relevant intake.
  • If an applicant is refused admission, we will provide a clear reason based on published criteria upon request (subject to privacy rules).

7. Monitoring, review and transparency
The college will monitor admissions outcomes to detect patterns that could indicate bias and will review this policy periodically to ensure it remains effective and legally compliant. Summary findings and any corrective measures will be reported internally; anonymised statistical information may be published to demonstrate transparency.
